Walls Can See

What if they could? (ongoing project)

Series of illustrations diverting the expression "walls have ears".These façades are all inspired by existing buildings in Hackney, that reminded me of expressive faces.

Knock Knock Knock is a playful flip book built like an identikit picture with "eyes", "nose" and "mouth" you can assemble to create your very own façade.

It led to the creation of 10 different workshops aimed at children, for ELCAF (2013) and The South Ken Kids Festival at the French Institute and any schools of the area. And a publication in TheLoop magazine to "design your own street"

The idea was to personalize templates of buildings to create a common giant imaginary city together.

(see photos below)

Prints of each will be available in my shop after the lockdown.
