In this opulent narrative illustration,

all kinds of living creatures, animal, botanical and mythological, come to life, transforming the museum into

a fantastical secret garden.

This wonderfully rich artwork is filled with decorative and architectural details observed on site, with references to the Chinese, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Indian, Medieval, and Arts & Crafts collections.
