11/11/2009 Opening of the Deptford Update exhibition at APT Gallery Deptford Update is an exhibition of drawings and models accompanied by a programme of events showcasing emerging public realm projects in Deptford and North Lewisham.Commissioned by Design for London in partnership with London Borough of Lewisham, the exhibition includes: an urban plan for Deptford Creekside, proposals for the Kender Triangle in New Cross Gate, improved pedestrian connections along Deptford Church Street and a series of speculative housing proposals by students from the Accademia di Architettura, Mendrisio, Switzerland. My wall mural/ drawings installation specially commissioned for the exhibition presents all of the projects in context including the LB Lewisham led Deptford and New Cross Links program. |
